The 2009 Greater Nashville Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure took place in the Maryland Farms area of Brentwood where 12,000 participants and 500 volunteers, and many more supporters helped exceed their goals raising more than $1.3 million dollars to fight breast cancer on Saturday October 10, 2009.
