Look, up in the sky. The Victor Valley Air Show took place in September 2008 at Apple Valley Airport- the first time since the mid-1990s that Apple Valley held the event. The free show included stationary World War II planes and plenty of aerobatics.

Apple Valley Airport has more than doubled in size since it was built in 1970. That increase includes acreage as well as hangars, and today more than 37,000 takeoffs and landings occur each year for private and corporate aircraft.
