Johnstown, the county seat of Fulton County, is considered the birthplace of the Women's Rights Movement in the U.S., as activist Elizabeth Cady Stanton was born here in 1815. Known for its glove manufacturing, the city also offers a variety of recreation outlets, including three golf courses, multiple parks and natural areas, and the Neuse River, perfect for kayaking or fishing.
