Mt. Sterling gets a leg up on higher education with its regional campus of Kentucky's Morehead State University.

MSU offers 76 undergraduate degree programs, including eight associate level degrees and 12 preprofessional programs in four colleges -- Caudill College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, College of Business and Public Affairs, College of Education, and College of Science and Technology -- and 20 academic departments.

MSU's learning environment is defined by small class sizes and faculty committed to teaching and student success.

In addition to classes at the regional campus, the university offers a number of distance learning courses throughout the region via the Internet and interactive compressed video.

Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools, Morehead is regularly named as one of the top public universities in the South by U.S.News & World Report.
