Sierra Nevada, complete with a sandbox, back patio and live music venues, is an ideal place to take your kids if you want to experience Asheville’s renowned beer scene. But it’s not the only one. Check out these other Asheville-area breweries that are perfect for families.

1. Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company

Kids love nothing more than pizza, and they’ll love it even more at this downtown spot that also boasts a game room and family movie screenings.

2. Highland Brewing Company

For kids who like to get out and play, nothing beats Highland’s sprawling Meadow, a massive field where you’ll find concerts in the summer and plenty of space for the little  ones to run around the rest of the year.

This River Arts District destination has a huge grassy lawn for games, free tours for all ages, gardens to explore, food trucks and live music when it’s warm out.
