Stone Mountain State Park

Stone Mountain is North Carolina’s second largest state park and has 75 picnic sites with 35 shelters. Visitors might also get lucky and see a bear along the 5 1/2-mile equestrian trail.
The Edge Skate Park
And for skateboarding adrenaline junkies, they have an excellent opportunity to indulge their high-rolling ways at The Edge. The park is located at 1606 Industrial Drive and features four-foot ramps with a half-pipe, and is also home to a BMX bike track.
