Saratoga Springs extends countless recreation activities to its residents, which earned in a spot on Livability.com’s Top 10 Winter Cities list.
Saratoga Springs has plenty of snow activities to celebrate the abundance of Saratoga snow.
Skiing and snowboarding are popular in the area with its countless trails and resorts. Saratoga Spa State Park has cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails. Additionally, the nearby Adirondack region offers plenty of downhill snowboarding trails and resorts, and is just a short drive away from Saratoga Springs.
When the weather is warmer, kayak or raft on the Hudson River, venture through one of the area’s corn mazes, or take a stroll through Congress Park.
Saratoga Springs Park and Recreation Center hosts outdoor activities for the area. Saratoga Springs Spa State Park, the only state park within the community, has a dog park, trails, ice skating, pools, fishing and playgrounds.
Grab your clubs and head to one of the numerous golf courses in Saratoga Springs. There are more than 15 top-rated golf courses in the area, perfect for business conventions and golf enthusiasts alike.
Some of these include Saratoga Golf and Polo Club, which is the third oldest golf course recognized by the USGA, and Saratoga National Golf Club, which has been acclaimed by Golf’s Digest and the National Golf Course Owners Association.
