Shopping in Chattanooga, TN

Regardless of what you're searching for on your shopping trip – clothing, accessories, antiques, home furnishings or gifts – Chattanooga has a district to meet your needs.

Warehouse Row

Some of the newest shopping spots in town are located downtown in a historic warehouse that was revamped as part of the city's urban revitalization. Once a fort during the Civil War, Warehouse Row is now mixed-use complex that houses businesses, restaurants and many shops, including big-name retailers Anthropologie, J. Crew and lululemon athletica, as well as local shops like Shadowbox Paperie, Lines Orchids and Embellish Shoes

Hamilton Place

If you're in the market for one-stop-shopping, check out Hamilton Place. The area, serving as Tennessee's largest shopping complex with six department stores and more than 200 specialty stores, is home to Hamilton Place Mall, Gunbarrel Pointe, Hamilton Corner, Hamilton Crossing, The Shoppes at Hamilton Place and The Terrace.

Northgate Mall

Also offering a variety of stores in one convenient location, Northgate Mall includes three department stores, Belk, JCPenny and Sears, as well as more than 100 specialty stores.

Home to a variety of unique retailers, Chattanooga's Southside is a popular place for locally owned businesses to set up shop.

If you're prowling for antiques, head to Southside Antiques or The Antique Market. Both stores offer an array of items, including furniture, art, rugs and books. Revival houses antiques as well, and also features contemporary home furnishings, décor and pottery.

To secure clothing and accessories, visit Boutique Couture and Ciao Bella Boutique. Although both retailers offer upscale merchandise, Boutique Couture focuses on formal wear for weddings and other events, while Ciao Bella Boutique provides more casual apparel.

Additionally, items such as stationary, candles and gifts can be found at Recollections and Shadowbox.

NorthShore, located near the Tennessee River, is often considered Chattanooga's most eclectic area and is filled with an assortment of trendy retailers.

This district includes apparel and accessory stores such as Frankie & Julian's and Go Fish Clothing & Jewelry, as well as gift shops including All Things Groovy and blue skies.

NorthShore also comprises 2 North Shore, which only includes locally operated stores such as Willa Collection, Rock/Creek and WiggleWorm.
