Franklin, TN Transportation: Trolley Service
Residents have great resource for getting to work, school, shopping centers and parks.

The Franklin Trolley system makes it simple -- and eco-friendly -- to get around town. The city of Franklin and the Franklin Transit Authority began the commuter service in May 2003‚ and today more than 350 shops are now accessible from four trolley lines featuring state-of-the-art vehicles operating on clean-burning, bio-diesel fuel. Trolleys run Monday-Friday from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. On Saturdays‚ they operate from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Passengers can be transported to destinations such as CoolSprings Galleria ‚ Williamson Medical Center ‚ downtown Franklin and the Williamson County Public Library. The cost is $1 one way for adults and 50 cents for seniors. In addition‚ anyone who needs to be picked up or dropped off within three-quarters of a mile of the standard trolley route can call and make a reservation for this special service.
