Retail shopping has been an enormous business sector for the Mt. Juliet area for the past decade, and continues to grow. Providence Marketplace is the most notable in the city's shopping realm. The master-planned, 850,000-square-foot complex brings dozens of companies into Mt. Juliet. Major retailers include Kroger, Target, Best Buy, JCPenney, Old Navy and more. The Paddocks counts Lowe’s and Walmart as the main tenants in its 1 million square feet of retail and dining space. New stores are being added to this complex, bringing jobs to the community.
