#2. Little Rock, AR
Arkansas may not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of great places to retire, but hear us out.
Located in central Arkansas, Little Rock has a low cost of living when compared to other cities, so your retirement savings will go further here. Plus, you’ll be surrounded by people of all ages in Little Rock, which will keep you feeling young — just 13 percent of the city’s 200,000 residents are over the age of 65.
