It's easy to savor the flavor at many of Greater El Paso's top restaurants, whether you have a taste for steak, Mexican food, Italian, seafood, a great salad or a thick burger:

Fine Dining

Dinner is served – elegantly – at several fine dining spots throughout Greater El Paso. Cafe Central is a favorite among residents and travelers thanks to selections like grilled Scottish salmon and beef tenderloin carpaccio, while Anson11 is a highly acclaimed downtown El Paso steakhouse next to Starbucks in the historic Mills Building. Another fine dining hotspot is Mesa Street Grill with dishes like Delmonico ribeye and shrimp pasta, while the upscale menu at Dominic’s Italian Restaurant includes entrees like sauteed calamari and oysters Rockefeller.

Seafood

Seafood options are off the hook at places like Kona Grill, open for lunch and dinner with specialties like chili-glazed salmon and miso-sake sea bass. Sunny's Sushi features a longtime east-side location along with a new west-side restaurant, and Landry's Seafood is a lunch-and-dinner favorite with Cajun offerings like jambalaya and crawfish etouffée along with award-winning margaritas.

Steaks

Everything from filet mignon to New York strips are served at Billy Crews in Santa Teresa, N.M., and their wine list includes champagne, pinot noir and dessert wines. El Paso restaurants like The State Line along with The Ribs Smokehouse both serve barbecue dishes and feature full bars and happy hours, while Cattleman's Steakhouse in Fabens serves a deluxe menu of steaks along with chicken, seafood and sausage entrees.

Mexican

The food is “muy bien” at eateries such as Kiki's Mexican Restaurant, which opened in the late 1980s and serves favorites like chili Colorado and machaca. Leo’s Mexican Food Restaurant includes a Leo's West, Leo's Downtown and La Terraza East locations, while The Lunch Box has Mission Valley and east-side locations that both have live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Local Favorites

Serving you right in Greater El Paso are eateries like Independent Burger & Bar, which uses 100 percent grass-fed beef along with free range chicken and turkey dishes. Magic Bistro offers a lunch and dinner menu along with a full bar and wine list, and Crave Kitchen & Bar serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. House of Pizza features pizza, sandwiches and salads, while Ripe Eatery has menu items like linguini del mar and pecan crusted salmon. The Green Ingredient serves organic breakfasts, lunches and dinners using fresh all-natural ingredients.
