The Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo is among the biggest and best celebrations in the Wild West.

Wyoming residents have been gathering in Casper each summer since 1947 and laying it all on the line in a variety of contests that test skill, strength, stamina and know-how. This combined rodeo and fair is a real treat for spectators who can watch a variety of entertainers, find thrills at the carnival, pig out at the food booths and admire some of the most talented cowboys and cowgirls in the country. The area's agricultural roots, sense of adventure and patriotism are all put on display here.

The event is held in early July at the fairgrounds on Wyoming Boulevard and West 13th Street.
